Lloyd Fales is an independent television producer based in New York City. Much of his work has focused on science and nature. He has traveled across North America and to the Middle East, Asia and Antarctica producing stories for National Geographic Television, the BBC, CBS, PBS, History Channel and Discovery.
Some of his favorite projects include: Wild Wings, a series of live broadcasts from a National Wildlife Refuge for PBS and BBC; Search for the First Dog for National Geographic Television, and Legendary Lighthouses of the Eastern Great Lakes for PBS.
In 2007, Lloyd worked with Oikonos scientists on two films: Penguin Science, an educational DVD sponsored by the National Science Foundation and Return to Penguin City, an award-winning film about polar climate change that premiered on Animal Planet (U.S.) spring 2008.
